Glossary
- The terms Residence Le Petit Paradis Chambre d’Hôtes Labastide Rouairoux, Residence Le Petit Paradis, Chambre d’Hôtes Residence Le Petit Paradis and Chambre d’Hôtes are terms for Residence Le Petit Paradis Chambre d’Hôtes in Labastide Rouairoux.
- Guest: a person who has a reservation at and stays at Chambre d’Hôtes and is registered as such.
- Main guest: the person who has made the reservation at the Chambre d’Hôtes. The main guest must be over 21 years of age and is responsible for his/her fellow guests.
- Administrator: the person who, as the owner of the Chambre d’Hôtes, or on behalf of the owner of the Chambre d’Hôtes, manages the Chambre d’Hôtes.
- Third parties: any other legal entity that is not a guest, manager or owner.
- Reservation: a confirmation of the reservation request by Residence Le Petit Paradis.
- Cancellation: The revocation or cancellation of the definitive reservation within the applicable period or a no-show at the time of the reservation.
1. Residence Le Petit Paradis
1.1 The Chambre d’Hôtes is described on the website residence-lepetitparadis.fr. This website has been compiled with the greatest care, but there may be differences between the text and/or photos presented on the website and the current situation in the Chambre d’Hôtes at the time of the guest(s) visit. No rights can be derived from such differences by guests.
1.2 The minimum stay at Residence Le Petit Paradis is one night. A different minimum stay may apply during the holiday periods and/or during the summer months.
1.3 The Chambre d’Hôtes is accessible 24 hours a day. The rooms have their own lockable entrance.
1.4 Quiet hours are from midnight to 7 AM.
1.5 Smoking is not permitted in the rooms or in the communal areas or anywhere indoors. Smoking outside is permitted.
1.6 Guests’ pets are not allowed in/at the Chambre d’Hôtes, unless otherwise agreed between the guest and manager.
1.7 The rooms are suitable for two people, unless otherwise indicated when booking.
1.8 Check in is from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm, check out by 11:00 am. Later check-in possible in mutual consultation.
1.9 Residence Le Petit Paradis is suitable for families with children.
1.10 Guests can park their car in the car park at the Chambre d’Hôtes. Parking is at your own risk.
1.11 Guests must have a permanent place of residence
1.12 Guests must follow the instructions of the managers
1.13 The managers can deny the acces to and/or refuse guests access to Residence Le Petit Paradis with immediate effect in the event of a violation of the general terms and conditions and/or internal rules or improper behavior, without further notice and reasonings and without reimbursement of accommodation costs.
1.14 Guests of the Residence Le Petit Paradis should adhere to the house rules, which are available for their perusal in the Chambre d’Hôtes.

2. Rates
2.1 The rates include gas, water, electricity and heating. The prices that are shown and can be retrieved on this website include taxes and (mandatory) surcharges.
2.2 The rates do not include the costs of cancellation and/or travel insurance and/or other costs.
2.3 Rates of the Chambre d’Hôtes are always without obligation and are subject to interim changes.
2.4 All statements on the website of the Chambre d’Hôtes (residence-lepetitparadis.fr) are deemed to have been provided in good faith and are always subject to interim adjustments. The Chambre d’Hôtes is not bound by obvious errors on its website.
3. Reservation and Payment
3.1 The reservation is only valid after confirmation of your reservation with Residence Le Petit Paradis.
3.2 You can choose to pay the amount using the different payment methods on our website, you can also choose to pay on arrival.
3.3 Payment of the (remaining) amount must be made at the Chambre d’Hôtes upon arrival. Payment can be made in cash or by credit card.
4. Cancellation
4.1 Up to 1 day prior to the date of arrival, cancellation is free of charge. For example arrival Friday, cancellation is free of charge up to and including Wednesday.
4.2 If canceled from 1 day before the date of arrival, 100% of the rate of the first night will be charged (average reservation amount per night).
4.3 In case of cancellation after arrival or early departure during the stay, the entire stay period (confirmed total stay amount ) will be charged.
4.4 Cancellations can only be requested in writing via the contact form on the website or by email via info@residence-lepetitparadis.fr.
4.5 Residence Le Petit Paradis always has the right to withdraw a definitive reservation more than 2 days prior to the date of arrival without reason. Advances that have already been paid will be refunded to the main guest at no cost.
5. Damage
5.1 The guest must behave appropriately and use the Chambre d’Hôtes accommodation in accordance with the reasonable instructions given by the Chambre d’Hôtes or the owner/manager.
5.2 The main guest is legally responsible for the damage caused by them or their fellow guests at the Chambre d’Hôtes accommodation or the items present therein.
5.3 A claim (damage, loss, loss and/or theft) must be reported immediately by the guest to the owner or the manager. Repair and/or replacement costs must be immediately reimbursed by the guest to the owner/manager upon first request.
5.4 In the event of loss or other failure to return keys to the Chambre d’Hôtes, all resulting costs will be charged to the main guest. The main guest is obliged to pay this within 14 days after sending the substantiated invoice.
5.5 If the keys are not returned at check-out, the main guest is obliged to send the keys by registered mail to the Chambre d’Hôtes owner within 2 working days.
6. Complaints
6.1 The guest is always entitled to submit his grievances to the Chambre d’Hôtes by means of a complaint. The Chambre d’Hôtes must always handle a complaint adequately and with due speed, so that the complaint is handled according to the standards of reasonableness and fairness.
7. Force majeure
7.1 In the event of force majeure, both of permanent and temporary nature, the Chambre d’Hôtes is entitled to terminate the agreement in whole or in part or to suspend it temporarily without the guest being able to claim fulfillment and/or compensation. Force majeure includes, but is not limited to: danger of war, war, rebellion, war risk, strikes, boycott, disruptions in the energy circuit, disruptions in traffic or transport, government measures, scarcity of raw materials, natural disasters and all circumstances furthering, exceptional weather conditions , death of one of the owners or close family members, etc., under which the full and partial execution of the agreement cannot reasonably be expected of the Chambre d’Hôtes.
8. Liability
8.1 The Chambre d’Hôtes cannot be held liable for damage suffered by the guest or third parties as a result of the stay in the accommodation; the guest indemnifies the Chambre d’Hôtes against claims in this regard. The Chambre d’Hôtes is not liable for disruptions in and around the accommodation such as disruptions and power failures and water supplies and technical installations, not or untimely announced construction and/or road works in the vicinity of the Chambre d’Hôtes.
8.2 The Chambre d’Hôtes can only be held liable for damage due to the gross fault or negligence of the Chambre d’Hôtes.
8.3 Without prejudice to the provisions of 8.1 and 8.2, the liability of Chambre d’Hôtes, if and in so far as Chambre d’Hôtes is held legally liable for any reason in relation to the user agreement, is always limited to direct damage and any form of consequential damage is excluded. The liability of Chambre d’Hôtes is furthermore always limited to the maximum amount that the Chambre d’Hôtes insurer will pay out in the relevant case.
8.4 The Chambre d’Hôtes accepts no liability for injury to persons and/or damage, loss or theft of belongings of the users.
9. Privacy
9.1 For this we refer you to our Privacy Statement.
10. Final provision
10.1 To the extent that the rules of private international law do not provide otherwise, the present conditions are exclusively governed by French law. Non-French guests are deemed to agree with the terms and conditions.
10.2 All disputes arising from the user agreement or these terms and conditions will be settled in the first instance by the competent court in France, insofar as the rules of private international law do not provide otherwise.
10.3 None of the parties can transfer their rights and obligations to third parties, unless otherwise specified in the present conditions.
10.4 If and insofar as any provision in the user agreement and the present terms and conditions appears to be void, the other terms and conditions will remain in force and the invalid article will be deemed to have been converted in such a way that it aligns with the apparent intentions of the parties.
